How can I prepare prior to a scheduled session?
Refrain from consuming tea/coffee or sugary drinks one hour prior to your session. A tall glass of water and some tissues need to be brought to the session with you and join the coaching session with a receptive mindset.
How safe is EFT? And would I need to take many sessions?
EFT does not use any form of medications, the process involves therapeutic techniques involving the energy points of the body and the processing of negative emotions through verbalization. Once the initial consultation is conducted by the practitioner, an idea of the number of sessions needed will be prescribed.
How do negative emotions affect the physical body?
Unprocessed Emotions get trapped in the weakest parts of the physical body, creating physical tension and pain.
Do fears and phobias result from unprocessed negative emotions?
Early life traumatic situations or incidents and the emotions that get built around it can bring upon fears and phobias in the present day. Wanting to resolve these fears and phobias would mean to work on those emotions, trapped around those past incidents and memories.

Emotional Freedom Techniques is popularly known as EFT worldwide and is practiced by many thousands of persons. EFT as a clinically proven technique supports many areas to resolve stress and negative emotions providing effective results which are well documented.
Is there a connection to breath and emotions?
Our breathing pattern changes depending on the emotions that we experience. By understanding and managing our emotions better, our breathing patterns are better regulated.
How does the gamut point hold and breathing technique support health and wellbeing?
By holding the Gamut point (this point is connected to parts of the brain) which is the point between the ring finger and the little finger, then breathing for a few minutes, the body and mind instantly become calmer and releases the stress stored in the cell memory (skin cells/blood cells).
Are there exercises to stimulate the brain and what is the stimulating process?
By stimulating the creative part of the brain and the logical part of the brain, the brain is known to get balanced. Example: humming and counting numbers stimulate the brain.
Why is it important to hydrate with water during the practice of EFT ?
With EFT, emotions get released and this results in toxins getting released into the blood stream. These toxins get naturally flushed out when one sufficiently hydrates with water. It is advisable to avoid coffee, tea and sugar during the EFT process as they suppress the actual emotions. Hydrating with water is best as it has its natural electrolytes.
